Which networks does the Asia eSIM use?+
It works in 13 countries on 32 partner networks, including 3 Hong Kong, AWN, Beeline Uzbekistan, Celcom Axiata Berhad , ChungHwa Telecom, DTAC TriNet, DiGi, Dialog Axiata and 24 more. Your phone joins a supported network automatically.
Which countries are included?+
Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of China), Indonesia, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, New Zealand, Thailand, Pakistan, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Sri Lanka, Singapore. It won't work outside these countries.
What speed can I expect in Asia?+
Up to 5G on supported networks, if your phone supports it. Actual speed depends on local signal and network load.
When does my plan start?+
It starts automatically as soon as your phone connects to a supported network with Data Roaming on. You can't pick a start date. Install it before you fly, but keep it switched off until you land. On iPhone, a plan can start early if the eSIM is turned on before you arrive.
Does it include a phone number or texts?+
No. Each plan is a fixed amount of mobile data only. Use WhatsApp, FaceTime or similar apps for calls and messages.
What happens when data or days run out?+
Data stops when you use up your allowance or the days end, whichever comes first. Plans never renew automatically, so you're never charged again. Need more? Buy another plan. Asia plans: 1 GB / 7 days, 2 GB / 15 days, 3 GB / 30 days, 5 GB / 30 days, 10 GB / 30 days, 20 GB / 30 days.
What do I need before I buy?+
An eSIM-compatible phone that is carrier-unlocked, and Wi-Fi or a good connection to install it. Remember to turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM when you arrive.
