How does an eSIM work?+
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of swapping a plastic card, you scan a QR code and your phone downloads a local data plan in seconds.
What happens right after I buy?+
Your QR code and activation details appear on screen instantly. You also get an email with a private link that opens your eSIM and install steps on any device. No account or password needed.
When should I install it?+
Install before you fly, while on Wi-Fi. Your plan's days only start counting once it connects to a network at your destination.
How do I turn on data when I land?+
Open Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data), choose the eSimTravel line for mobile data and turn Data Roaming on for it. You'll be online within a minute or two.
Will I keep my WhatsApp and phone number?+
Yes. Your regular SIM can stay on for calls and texts while eSimTravel handles data. WhatsApp and iMessage keep working as usual.
What if I can't scan the QR code?+
Every order includes manual codes you can paste into your phone settings, and your private link works on a laptop or a friend's phone so you can scan from there.
Is this data only?+
Yes. Plans include mobile data only — no local phone number. Use WhatsApp, FaceTime or other apps for calls.
What if it doesn't connect?+
If your phone is eSIM-compatible and unlocked and the eSIM won't connect, we refund you in full.
I lost my email. How do I get my eSIM?+
Open your private link or use the My eSIM page on the device you bought on. From the link you can also re-send the email to yourself.
